Senior Specialist, Quality & Regulatory Affairs - Viby J

Do you want to help facilitate the trade of our dairy-based child nutrition products – or help get our world-class organic products into new markets?

We are currently looking for experienced colleagues to join us in senior specialist roles to help drive regulatory activities on a global scale.
”You will both play key roles in our child nutrition growth journey. As our experts in early life nutrition and organic products, you will act as trusted advisors to the business,” says Susanne Elbrønd Neve.

About the job

You will join Early Life Nutrition (ELN) & Organic within the Global QEHS at our offices in Viby J. Here, you will work alongside 4 experienced colleagues focusing on product and quality regulations and standards within ELN as well as organic certifications.

As a team, we contribute with our knowledge of regulatory affairs and legislation in the early phases of product development. Moreover, we assist our colleagues in attaining relevant certifications before entering new markets as well as maintaining our position in current markets.

You will touch base with the production site, parts of our supply chain organisation, our R&D organisation, nutrition specialist, the regulatory team and our customer team. With a special emphasis on ELN and organic products, our primary role is to support our colleagues on subjects such as:

  • Product legislation
  • Documentation
  • Quality and quality assurance
  • Certification

This job will take you travelling approx. 30 days a year in order to establish connections and relationships with relevant stakeholders, such as food authorities, associations, colleagues at the production sites and sales offices.

Who are you?

For these two roles, we are looking for colleagues who enjoy hitting the books and gaining expertise within a particular field – that be either a market or a product segment.

Moreover, you must be confident in a global role, acting as a trusted advisor to the business. You will be manoeuvring in a highly dynamic organisation, and you cannot do your tasks without involving multiple stakeholders.

  • You have degree in food science, chemistry or a similar field within food safety and technology
  • Knowledge of and experience within child nutrition is a clear advantage
  • You preferably have experience with regulatory affairs, quality and/or production in a multinational food or dairy company
  • You have a track record of developing a strategic agenda, delivering through others and working with virtual teams
  • You speak and write English, and any additional language skills will be considered a plus (particularly Danish)

What do we offer?

You will join a central team within the Arla organisation. We are continuously paving the way into new markets. This is a great role if you want to help support Arla products in current markets as well as take them into new markets worldwide, while expanding and growing your own expertise.

As one of our new colleagues, you may very well be tasked with gaining knowledge about specific regional requirements and regulations that go beyond Danish and EU legislation, in order to best support our business.
