Energy systems consultant

Ea Energy Analyses is looking for a consultant with a keen interest in and a broad understanding of the energy systems and the decarbonisation challenges.


The job

At Ea Energy Analyses you will have the opportunity to work with a broad spectrum of projects addressing current and future energy system challenges. You will be responsible for project management, involved in client relations and contributing with knowledge on energy systems. We envision you working in teams on multiple projects simultaneously. Examples include supporting developing countries in their energy system transformation, looking into pathways to achieve the European climate-neutral ambitions or contributing to translating the Danish 2030 target into action.


Your profile

You are an economist, engineer, energy planner, or similar and have professional experience in a consulting environment, energy company, energy/climate focused organisation or energy authority.

It would be positive if you have experience with or knowledge of at least one of the following: power markets, energy policy & regulation, energy economics, energy planning, modelling, and energy and climate financing.

We imagine that you:

  • have 3-10 years of experience working in the energy sector
  • are independent, responsible, structured, self-aware, passionate, and team-oriented
  • are willing to travel
  • have a high proficiency in English, both spoken and written.


Ea Energy Analyses

Ea Energy Analyses provides consulting services, performs research, and develops models in the field of energy and climate change. Our clients are private companies, government bodies and organisations. Ea operates in Denmark and abroad, with projects in Europe, North America, Asia and Africa.

Our scope of work comprises analyses of energy systems from a technical, economic and environmental point of view as well as studies of climate policy measures. Our key expertise lays in using complex mathematical models for simulating electricity and heat systems, gas infrastructure and transport sector development. We apply scenario techniques to estimate long-term possibilities for sustainable energy future. Moreover, we help companies in the energy sector to adapt to these changing conditions.

We are a project-oriented company consisting of 32 colleagues with a great degree of employee influence and co-ownership. We have a strong culture of cooperation, an informal tone, high common visions and professional ethics.
