Senior Quality Manager who seek for perfection and sustainability

Are you a confidence-building and empathic engineer who is calm even when the storm raises?

If you have the vision and passion to be the voice of the consumer on quality related matters and make the call for right quality decisions – then you are the one, we are looking for!

Core Responsibilities

You will assist head of Consumer Perceived Quality (CPQ) in delivering on key priorities and be a go-to person and project leader/participant on key consumer-related quality projects. Be a project manager on key quality improvement projects plus solve critical quality issues across the full value chain from Idea to Production and be a Big Incident task force driver when needed.

Additionally, you will support the LEGO® sustainability agenda with quality guidelines, requirements and decisions. Be a go to expect on quality matters and quality processes across the organization and own, develop and maintain selected processes and standards. And you will define direction and guidelines on critical and difficult principal quality-related trade-offs and ensure decisions are made and implemented.

CPQ represents the consumer voice by providing regular consumer feedback based on quality standards and CPQ experience on Core-line products and Digital experience. We support fast responds to any quality issues or concerns that jeopardize the right consumer experience on products from development to market exit. Additionally, we use consumer feedback and department experience to ensure standardization of internal quality requirements and modification of existing ones.

Do you have what it takes?

We are interested in an experienced profile with Engineering degree or similar technical background who has excellent communication skills. Perhaps you have several years of experience in quality assurance activities and/or project management but you are not a quality geek. You are used to collaborate with all type of partners inside and outside your organization, in a global environment, dealing with different cultures and time zones. You possess the ability to stay calm in every situation even those who seems to be tense.

Nice to have:

• Communicate trade off decisions up-wards and downwards, from operators on the production floor to senior management.
• Communicate complex Quality issues in a simple way for better decision making.
• Communicate with and train e.g. Consumer Service, AFOLs and suppliers.

Advanced English both written and verbally is a need since we work with globally distributed teams.

Danish/Spanish/Czech/Hungarian/Chinese an advantage but not required.
