How to contribute to our vision
As an UX Specialist you understand the dependencies and opportunities in digitalization of both internal and external processes. You envision innovative products with a healthy balance between sustainability and disruption. Your role is somewhat at the interface between UI design and UX research, but you will work on both. To your daily tasks belongs:

  • Facilitate UX workshops with both internal and external customers to identify pain points and understand customers and users’ needs
  • Translate those into structured wireframes and other information architecture structures to facilitate the conception of new products, services and features
  • Mediate between different parties, like stakeholders, customers, POs etc.; for this, a psychology background might be helpful too

You apply methods like Usability Testing, Card Sorting, Ethnographical Studies and Expert Interviews (we consider the last one to be quite important and you might get to know why) and have a healthy distance to the narrative of processes and methods over results (you might have to read this sentence twice, but especially the last part is quite important)

What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for someone, who is used to work with and to extend design systems. Ideally, you know the difference between psychological category/concept building and UI concept building and have a healthy passion for visual excellence. You have acquired a Diploma or master's Degree in Computer Sciences with a focus on Design and Usability aspects as well as algorithmic excellence and more than 5 years of proven excellence in frontend / application development. Experience in industrial HMI context is a plus.

The scope of responsibilities in this role requires an empathetic, problem solving personality who knows the meaning of the 'No-free-lunch-theorem' and what this means to your work, living a hands-on mentality. You should be able to take constructive criticism and to change direction as required. To thrive in our large international organization, it helps to be a dedicated team player and a skilled communicator with good networking and excellent English skills, German, Spanish or Danish as a second language would be welcome. For this role you need be ready to relocate temporarily for approx. <20% of your time.

In return of your commitment we offer you…
Become a part of our mission for sustainability: Clean energy for generations to come. We are a global team of diverse colleagues who share a passion for renewable energy and have a culture of trust and empowerment to make our own ideas a reality. We focus on personal and professional development to grow internally within our organization.
